Posting wells on seismic displays
This is probably a simple thing to do, but I cannot seem to find the right settings. How can I make sure that my well (with length) shows up on a specific location in depth (i.e. below the bottom horizon that I picked) on a seismic profile instead of at the top of the profile (i.e. 0 s TWT)?
You need to create a time-depth chart for your well to display it on seismic profiles. Once you create a TD chart, all the other well data, i.e formation tops, casing depths, perforations, etc. are also be displayed along the borehole.

Thank you for your reply. However, I think my question was probably not clear.
I already have a TD chart and my well is plotting on the seismic profile, but it is plotting it at a depth of 0 s TWT, while the seafloor is located much deeper. I would like it to show up at the correct water depth so I can compare the core length to the seismic reflectors at those depths.

LikeIn this case, please check the well’s reference elevation, start/end depth, etc. along with your time-depth chart values.
