## Is it possible to nest blanking (Bmax/Bmin) and Clipping (Cmax/Cmin) functions

I’ve an area with some uplifts formed by the acoustic basement (no folding), like domes. Due to that the merged horizon of the younger horizons on the basement I calculated with the OR function in Extended Math zig-zag in the vicinity of the uplifted sections of the basement . Obviously, the horizons that abut the basement do so at different TWTs giving rise to the zig-zag sections in the merged horizon.

I am wondering if the blanking and clipping functions could be nested in any function such as OR, MMAX, etc. to give a smooth merged horizon over the uplifted basement. Any solution would be very much appreciated.

In the Math on Two Maps calculations, you first need to choose a function and then a operator. For example;

Bmax, Bmin, Cmax, Cmin, Mmax, Mmin are functions.

OR is an operator.

Besides the functions, there are also several other operators can be used; addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, power, AND.

You need to run a calculation one at a time, and then if you need, you can use the output as an input for running another calculation.

You just need to be careful about the order of applying those functions and operators.
