Hi there.
To be more clearly, I explain the hardware structure and disk driver first.

Disk P is the project driver. It is directly connect to the SQL server machine named ‘xxx-file’

We are working at virtual workstations. Disk Q is another storage unit and connect with workstations.

Each workstation has Windows 7 64 bit and Kingdom 8.8 64 bit.

SQL express has been installed in workstations.

When I open projects in disk P, everything is fine. But when I copy the project (ctrl+c) to disk Q, it is not able to be opened. The error message is below:

Selected Instance: xxx-FILE\SMTKINGDOM
Exception: Directory lookup for the file “\\xxx-VCENTER\projectpath\ProjectDatabase\migration_test.mdf” failed with the operating system error 5(error not found).
Changed database context to ‘master’.
DBCC execution completed. If DBCC printed error messages, contact your system administrator.
DBCC execution completed. If DBCC printed error messages, contact your system administrator.

After click ‘yes’, another error box shows below:

The instance you select requires a change to the project folder security settings. Select another instance or change settings and try again.

Selected Instance: xxx-FILE\SMTKINGDOM
Project path: Q:\migration_test

I thought if the simple ctrl+c copy is wrong, so I also ran ‘Manage Manual SQL Server Express Projects’ tool in Kingdom. When I chose ‘Make a project portable’ and select the original project in P:\, it gave the message below:

The project has the auto portability configuration and can be copied, moved or deleted without this tool.

I also wanted to try to make a back up of this project from P:\ to Q:\, but still with errors:

The SQL server instance for this project is remote. You must either specify a UNC share for the destination or run the untility on the machine xxx-file.

So I don’t know what to do now. What should I do to move the project from P:\ to my destination?
